It is kind of amazing that after a first up season which saw the Phoenix finish bottom of the A-League that I find myself checking the net every few days to find out the latest news surrounding the club and counting down top the start of the new season. The signings are encouraging and whilst I'd like to see a decent striker and a right back join before kick off the major problems from season 1 seem to have been addressed, where surely teams will find it more difficult to work their way through a revamped and more skilful back four. So C'mon you Phoenix - you are footy in New Zealand - play offs at least this time around!
