Lets stand up and give a big cheer to volunteers in the game. From coaches to committee members and people who run club shops and organize raffles etc. These people of which I am one, are the true sporting heroes.

I think also that this fact is painfully over looked at major Football awards ceremonies. What a 'goal' to strive for to be the New Zealand Volunteer of the year, or Auckland or Canterbury Etc. So often overlooked and taken for granted, but so vital to the game now and in the future.
